Artem Zernov
I build software systems and tools with AI agents. I think about extending youth, the nature of mind, and how people can live and create together without coercion.

Facts
My engineering education taught me to look at a system as a whole: what goes in, what comes out, where the feedback is. I look at the mind, society and longevity the same way.
- Education
- Bauman Moscow State Technical University, 2011 Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems, Department of Computer Systems and Networks.
- Work
- Software systems, websites, automation I design and build systems, bring order to complex processes, and put together teams of AI agents.
- Studio
- OpenCo Commercial development. Full portfolio at openco.ru.
- I think about
- A future worth living in for a long time Extending youth, the nature of mind, mind and machine, a society without coercion, abundance. To me these are five sides of one question: how to live more freely, longer and more consciously — and not just me. The whole vision.

What I do now
Building systems
Software systems and websites — from the data model to the interface. My favorite moment is when a scattered process comes together into a clear system.
AI agents
I put together teams of agents where each has its own role: one designs, another builds the layout, a third checks the work and sends it back for revision. This site was made with their help.
Automation
I take routine out of processes so people have time left for the idea itself. A small but very real version of the idea of abundance.
OpenCo studio
Commercial development for clients. Portfolio and terms at openco.ru.
imhuman.space
My own project: a knowledge base on the theory of aging, a database of compounds and supplements, and a personal dashboard for tracking biomarkers with an AI assistant. The idea of extending youth turned into a working system.
The people I'm glad to meet
Profession, capital and income don't matter. It could be a freelance programmer, an entrepreneur or someone with an ordinary job. What matters more to me is how they handle their own thinking.
-
Meta-position
Doesn't confuse themselves with their thoughts. Can look at their beliefs from the outside and revise them — through a conversation, a book, learning, a different environment.
-
Flexible thinking
Sees the limits of their own thinking. Knows the brain is plastic and a worldview can be rebuilt into one that gives more strength. Doesn't cling to the old for its own sake.
-
Oriented toward flourishing
Wants growth that leads somewhere: to freedom, health, creativity, the energy to build — and to warmth toward the people around them.
-
Compassion
Understands that abundance is never just personal. If I'm doing well while those around me suffer, the design is flawed. Compassion here isn't sentimentality but a way to make life good for everyone.
Independence, readiness to act, cooperation without a fight for status — these matter too, but they mostly follow from the four qualities above.
Think people don't change? A thought experiment
Which of your beliefs did you choose yourself?
How I got here
This is a side chapter. The whole site is about how I see things now. This page is about how the place I see them from has changed. No dates: shifts like these don't happen in a day.
-
How things work
It all started with engineering. In the Department of Computer Systems and Networks I was taught to look at a system as a whole: what goes in, what comes out, where the feedback is and what fails first. For a long time I applied that view only to hardware and code.
-
How I work
One day I noticed I could look at my own reactions the same way. Irritation, habits, beliefs are algorithms too, shaped by biology, upbringing and experience. They can be observed from the outside. This is probably the main shift: I stopped taking my thoughts for myself.
-
What can be rewritten
If reactions are algorithms, some of them can be rewritten. Books, people and environment really do change how you think when you don't cling to the old. Not everything yields to intention alone, and I see that. But more yields than I used to think.
-
How much time it takes
Once you see how much more can be rebuilt in yourself and around you, life starts to feel short. That's where my interest in longevity came from — not out of fear, but out of wanting to have time. A long life is valuable as long as it holds curiosity, pleasure and growth.
-
Why it can't be done alone
The question “how do I live well” gradually gave way to “how do we make life good around me.” Scarcity brings out the worst in people: fear, aggression, the fight for resources. Abundance is never just personal, and compassion turned out to be not sentimentality but a working tool.
-
Now: bringing it together
Now I'm trying to bring all of this into one: I build systems and look for people with whom we can create an environment worth living in for a long time. This site is one way to find them.
